Alison has been practicing massage and coaching endurance sports for almost twenty years. She helps her clients and athletes find more ease in their bodies and lives, while trying to carve out time for her own objectives and raise two daughters. In the last couple of years she realized that her work is simple: helping people find joy in what works for them, rather than conforming to expectations and what they “should” do.

Alpine Dreams arose out of a deep desire to integrate body, mind, and spirit-a different approach from traditional endurance coaching. Decades of feedback and evolution of her coaching and massage practices combined with her own exploration into creativity and mindfulness practices, she developed an intuitive approach to coaching that integrates those modalities to help her clients be more connected and present in their bodies, the landscape, and ultimately their lives.

Alison lives in the mountains with her husband, two daughters and two huskies where she runs, skis, sits, reads, and writes, often among her Ponderosa pine friends. She co-owns Cascade Endurance with her husband Sam, and founded Methow Massage Therapy. Both businesses operate out of the North Cascades Mountain Guide building next to the Mazama Pub.
